Citrus Pack-House

Established in 1992 over an area of 10,000 square meters, with top line MAF Roda packing lines with optiscan sorting sizer, the citrus pack-house went through massive modifications and equipment changes; where by the beginning of 2007 it turned into a latest-state-of-the-art pack-house with electronic optiscan sizers, outlets for bin-fillers, numerous packing lines, and automated palletizing and strapping machines. The pack-house is supported by a number of cold store chambers. A full electronic traceability system of each box is maintained with barcode labels. The pack house is fully compliant with and certified with BRC certificate.

Potato pack-Houses

For the past forty years, the Kafr El Zayat pack-house has been operating to support Daltex main crop, potatoes. The main pack-house is made of truss with concrete floors over an area of 10,000 square meters. There are also more than eight other truss pack houses that are directly operated for the sorting, sizing, and packing of potatoes. There are loading ramps, electric and diesel forklifts, electronic scales, weigh bridges. A full electronic traceability system of each bag is maintained with barcode labels.

Potatoes field Packing

Every Daltex farm has its own potato pack house. They are all established in their own GolbalGap-and Tesco Nurture Choice-Certified-farms to support the potato production and packing business of each farm. Each pack-house is made of truss and concrete floors over an area of 10,000 square meters. Each pack-house has its own sorting and sizing packing lines as well as small bag fillers for particular markets to accommodate for the various requirements of our customers. There are loading ramps, electric and diesel forklifts, electronic scales, Weigh Bridge in each pack-house. A full electronic traceability system of each bag is maintained with barcode labels.

Vegetables Pack-House

The pack house operates mechanical sorting and packing lines with electronic scales. A full electronic traceability system of each box is maintained with barcode labels. It is set up to cater for a number of vegetables to run through it. The pack house is located on the farm which is both GlobalGap and Tesco Nurture's Choice Certified. The pack house is BRC certified.

Grapes Pack-House

Built on 5600 square meters, the grapes’ pack-house is established near the fields in Nubareya area, and supports the packing operations of all the grapes produced by Daltex farm. Farms are both GlobalGap and Tesco Nurture Choice certified meeting all international standards. It operates mechanical and electronic sorting and packing lines, with two loading ramps, electronic scales, Weigh Bridge, etc. It is supported by pre-cooling chambers, and a large cold store. A full electronic traceability system of each box is maintained with barcode labels. The pack house is BRC certified.

Farm

Daltex enjoys the ownership and management of a large portfolio of land bank allowing it more control over the volume, type and variety of its plantations. More importantly such control ensures proper management of the quality of the produce whether in the seeds, the type and dosage of the chemicals sprayed, as well as the pre and post harvest treatments. Additionally, Daltex ensures full control over the operation through a full traceability system connecting farms, pack houses with codes traceable from the final client to the earliest of the agriculture input, every part of the process is clear.
